Sprinkle Sea Salt On Your Chocolate Chip Cookies For A Crowd-Pleaser

This week, we chose to go completely sweet. Whether you’re indulging in ice-cream at a birthday party or enjoying coffee and cake with friends, desserts naturally bring people together. We chose to feature one classic dessert that’s essential on the most important day of the year — your birthday — and another that’s perfect for sharing around at a picnic or munching on to satisfy a midnight craving. Oftentimes, the simplest and most traditional desserts are the easiest to mess up. The following two recipes are here to ensure that your cake and cookies are almost up to Grandma’s standard.

TRADITIONAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

These classic chocolate chip cookies are everything you’d expect from your childhood favourite. They’re a little crispy around the edges, but soft and chewy in the center. And, what’s better than that? There’s so much chocolate you’ll be licking your fingers after. Chilling the cookies before baking will ensure that they all bake to the same size and don’t spread too much while baking.
