Boozy Ponche de Crème Is The Perfect Christmas Drink

This is a classic ponche de crème recipe. Creamy, blended eggs and thick evaporated milk make this drink the only dessert and boozy drink you need this season. Finish off the drink with a dusting of nutmeg for an added kick of spice.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 750 millilitre-bottle white rum 
  • 6 eggs 
  • 3 12-ounce tins
  • evaporated milk 
  • 2 395-gram tins condensed milk 
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg 
  • 1 lime 
  • 3 teaspoons Angostura bitters
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a blender, blend eggs until frothy. While blending, add the juice of 1 lime.
  2. Add blended eggs and lime juice to a large pot. Then, add milks, nutmeg, bitters and rum. Then, swizzle with a swizzle stick.
  3. Chill and serve over ice.
